Now on DVD: “Bonded by Blood” Starring Tamer Hassan and Vincent Regan


The 2010 crime drama “Bonded by Blood” from Gateway Films was directed by Sacha Bennett with the screenplay written by Graeme Muir, based on the book by Bernard O’Mahoney, “Bonded by Blood” is a true story, that charts the rise and fall of 3 notorious drug dealers in the Essex section of south England who were killed in the ‘Range Rover’ murders in 1995.  Starring: Tamer Hassan, Terry Stone, Vincent Regan, Dave Legeno, Lucy Brown, Adam Deacon, Michael Socha, Susie Amy, Alex MacQueen, Simon Phillips, Neil Maskell, Sacha Bennett, Nathan Constance, Siobhan Hewlett and Kierston Wareing.

Tony Tucker (Terry Stone), Patrick Tate (Tamer Hassan) and Craig Rolfe (Neil Maskell) may not be gentlemen with social graces, but when it comes to loyalty there is no question about it. Crime is a dangerous business and dealing drugs can turn into a life or death situation at any moment, this line of work is ruthless and makes no apology for it. Now the stakes are high for the “Essex Boys” who have become the rulers of the domain of South England because  not everyone is happy about their success.

In just a few short years, the Essex Boys have become the most feared trio of criminals in the area. They live hard and play hard without any remorse. Their reputation has put most of the other dealers out of business and they control their territory with an iron hand and plenty of weapons to back it up.

So when Mickey Steele (Vincent Regan) sends them a shipment of bad drugs, being businessmen Tucker, Rolfe and Tate decide to ask for a refund of their money of get hit hard. But what Tucker doesn’t know is that Steele is having an affair with his wife and after the confrontation and threats, Steele decides to have Tucker and his partners killed.

But the Essex boys already are making plans to do the same thing to Steele and his crew. It’s only a matter of time to see which crew will survive and as the clock winds down for Steele to return the money for the drugs to the Essex Boys. While he wants to find a way out of the situation, he knows that they are well connected so they will not be easy to kill. Finding the right people to do the job is the problem because he’s finding it extremely difficult to trust anyone around him.
