The effects were great, but I couldn't stomach the movie. Too sappy.
The theme song?....shoot me. "My Heart Will Go On" (Celine Dion) Well it went on and on and on for about a year played ad nauseum.
I like the documentaries better.

I'm actually watching the movie on TV right now!
I like the movie, but I don't particularly love it. The love story was alright, and yes, that song gets stuck in my head and I hate it! The acting was great though.

I loved Titanic the first 10 times I watched it. Now, I can hardly sit through it. The storyline was great and so were the actors, but I guess I just watched it a few too many times and got burned out on it.

Yes Shadylady, I most certainly think you watched it one too many times. I think I have watched it about 3 times, and seen pieces of it otherwise. I watched it in different environments so chatting and laughing was also a part of the experience.
