robert-wagner1Robert Wagner often also known as RJ by friends, is at present known to be one of the most popular and successful actors in the entertaining industry, according to his personal website currently published on the internet as well as literally millions of reviews. Robert Wagner is a name that most people know instantly. His acting career is extensive and most anyone you ask could list a title (if not several) of a film that he appeared in at some point.

Robert set out at a young age in hopes of becoming an actor. It was not a very long time period before someone “discovered” him and placed him into his first acting job where he played a crippled soldier in a Susan Hayward film. The role was not a great one and was not very long however it was enough to get him in the world of acting and on his way to stardom. This was the beginning of an amazing acting career which is exactly what Robert had hoped for and is still achieving at present.

Some of the first older movies that Robert Wagner appears in include Let’s Make it Legal, The Frogmen and With a Song in My Heart. Another popular movie that is an older film in which he appeared is Beneath the 12-Mile Reef (1953). In this one he played Tony Petrakis who was one of the leading characters in the film. Beneath the 12-Mile Reef was nominated for an Academy Award Oscar in 1954. Robert Wagner has been nominated for six Golden Globe awards and for one Emmy himself. Many of the films he performed in have had nominations or awards. He was awarded with the Best Ensemble Cast for Man in the Chair in 2007. He won the People’s Choice award in 1980 for Favorite Male Performer in a New TV Program. He also won the 2006 Copper Tribute for Award. Robert also has 2 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one is for recording and the other is for movie pictures.

Robert’s acting career has been solid even when movies were not active he was able to keep busy because he had his series which were continuing onward. He performed in a total of three very popular TV series for around three decades which is a very extensive amount of time compared to most other series. The series were titled It Takes a Thief, Switch and Hart to Hart.

Robert Wagner is most likely best known for his performances in the Austin Powers films where he played Number 2. The films are titled Goldmember, The Spy Who Shagged Me and International Many of Mystery. He is also well known for his performances in The Pink Panther, Overdrive, Crazy in Alabama and The Hustle. He is also known for being the host on the Hours of Stars TV series.

robert-wagner2Robert Wagner’s most recent accomplishment is an autobiography book recently published which is titled Robert J. Wagner with Scott Eyman: Pieces of My Heart. The autobiography is supposed to be a great book and recommended for all of his fans. Some people believe that this will one day be a very valuable collector’s item. The book includes very intimate details of his life over the span of his career.

There have been very many interviews with Robert Wagner that have also been recorded and published online for fans to listen to and enjoy at their convenience. There are personal details in these interviews that are very interesting and give fans a look inside the world of Robert Wagner and how he thinks as well as his ideas and thoughts on various subjects and aspects of his long standing career. Most of them discuss both his career as well as his personal life.

Robert has been acting for 60 years and at present has role in a popular TV series sitcom titled Two and a Half Men where he plays Teddy which is Evelyn’s boyfriend and is in an occasional episode. His success in his career is more than most actors could ever dream of. He is an actor that many inspiring actors hope to someday be similar to. He has set the bar high and will have much to work on if ever to become anything like him.

Robert Wagner has a personality and appearance that are attractive to people in more than one way and are a combination which work in his favor consistently. He is loved by the young and the old and known well for his recent movies as well as his older performances. While Robert is a very successful man thanks to his performances, it is of no doubt to most that he is the person and the personality that people have grown to love due to his kind heart and thankfulness to his fans. Many celebrities do not take the opportunity to meet their fans or socialize with them to any extent and he has gone above and beyond to make sure his fans know that he appreciates them and cares for them. In an interview with CY he yet again put out a nice word towards his fans.

CY: What would you like to say to your fans whether they were from the television shows or the movies over the years? What would you like to say to them about where you are in your life right now?

RW: “I would like to say to them that I am very appreciative of them because they’ve put a lot of energy into me and that I love what I am doing. If I can give them anything back that they’ve given to me I am there for them.”

Robert Wagner has been married a total of four times to three different women. He remarried Natalie Wood and was married to her when her tragic death happened. His other wives were Marion Marshall and Jill St John. He and Jill are still married at present. Robert has two daughters and one step daughter.

Robert writes about his four-year romance with Barbara Stanwyck. They met on the set of the 1953 movie, 'Titanic', when he was 22 and she was 45. She was divorced at that time from Robert Taylor. He also writes, for the first time, about the drowning death of his wife, Natalie Wood, which plunged him into a long and deep depression.
