Growing up in the 1980's I was raised watching tons of really bad, really campy movies. But at the time they were like the best thing ever invented! In this group we can discuss those fun favorites from the 80's.

What about those that make us think, really think about history? I just watched Valkyrie over the weekend and it really made me think. Partly since I am German, that I have a past of writing (when I was in school) essays that surround Germany (also a place I would love to visit) and Hitler himself, as a man, no matter how horrid he was, still a man. Who else likes things that make you think?

Things like Disney and Pixal, all of these in the past few years have really boomed. Have they done the same overseas? I know mostly only what is "cool" in the US, so I decided we need a group to talk it over. :)

It's not always easy to find family movies. You know, movies that you can watch with your kids and have a good time with them. If you know some good ones please share with us.

What? I know I am not the only person here that still watches cartoons. Sometimes I will catch things on Adult Swim (Inuyasha, other magma's, etc.) but I am strictly talking about cartoons only. Do we have some toon fans about?
