The first episode where we are first introduced to the man of steel. We find out a mad scientist has sent a letter to the Daily Planet threatening to destroy the city with a destructive ray. Lois knows where he is and takes her plane up to get the scoop. The scientist captures her and uses his ray to destroy a bridge. When Clark sees the newsflash he runs to the stockroom to change into Superman and is just leaving when the ray hits the Daily Planet, making it fall over. Clark rights it and goes off to rescue Lois. He destroys the ray and drops the villain in jail.
