A giant magnet is used to pull a comet out of orbit and it rolls through town and into the harbor. The scientist behind it says he will use the magnet to bring another comet close to Earth before sending it back into space. The police try to stop him and turn off the power after he has drawn the comet close to Earth, which will result in it hitting for sure. It hits another space body and dozens of smaller meteorites hit the observatory where Lois is trapped. Clark hears a phone call she places and speeds out to rescue her. He uses himself to conduct power to get the magnet working while Lois uses the magnet to guide the comet back away from the Earth. Lois kisses a figure she thinks is Superman but it turns out to be Clark instead.Director: Dave Fleischer
