A Native American comes to the daily Planet and says his people own Manhattan and he wants everyone else out or else modern science will convince them. Lois follows him to the waterfront and stows away in his boat to his secret hideaway.. They use an elevator to go to his underwater lab where he secures her in a chair. Various tuning forks are hooked to electricity and set of explosions and earthquakes in the city. Clark changes and follows these disturbances to the waterfront where he pulls and rearranges the cords and forks. This causes a hole and the scientist comes up and avoids capture by telling Superman that Lois is downstairs and sends a bomb down the elevator.
