Prof. Alexander Saxton (Christopher Lee) takes the transsiberian train with his newest and greatest discover: the fossil of a prehistoric man, who is the key to prove the evolution theory. But, once in the train, the creature comes to life, and starts to take the bodies of the passengers. Saxton has to ally with his long time enemy, Dr. Wells (Peter Cushing) to stop the monster before they get to their destination.
